NASHVILLE, Tenn.—The Samford men's golf team wrapped up play at the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate Tuesday at The Richland Country Club (Par 71, 6,925 yards). The event was hosted by Lipscomb University Monday and Tuesday.

As a team, Samford finished 12^th with a score of 932 (314 312 306). The host school, Lipscomb won the tournament with a three-round score of 859 (284-290-285).

Individually for Samford, Garrett Moores, Harlan Winn and Aaron Walker each tied for 40^th with final scores of 233. Moores shot scores of 80, 78 and 75, Winn had scores of 76, 78 and 79, while Walker fired scores of 75, 82 and 76).

Alec Stopperich tied for 63^rd with a three-round score of 240 (90-74-76), while Ivan Truss finished with a score of 248 (83-82-83). Crawford Flach played as an individual, finishing 77^th at 249 (82-83-84).

Braden Thornberry of Ole Miss earned individual medalist honors with a final score of 199 (65-69-65). Dawson Armstrong of Lipscomb came in second with a final score of 212 (72-71-69).

Samford will wrap up the 2016-17 season by competing in the Southern Conference Championships, April 23-25 in Pinehurst, N.C.
