AEP Tutor Application
As a tutor for the Samford University Academic Enhancement Program (AEP), tutors will tutor student-athletes in an individual and/or group setting and assist with the development of academic skills and clarification of course content.
Required Qualifications
--Must be at least a sophomore in good standing
--Possess an overall Cumulative GPA of 3.2 and/or be able to provide a recommendation from a faculty member
--A grade of 3.0 (A or B) or above in the listed course(s) is required
--Must be capable of working flexible hours (evening availability preferred)
--Excellent communication skills and competency of the course(s) content
--Complete any required tutor training within first semester on staff
--Commit to tutoring at least 2 consecutive semesters with the AEP (preferred)
