BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Winter weather on the first day of spring has forced the cancellation of Samford's home events on Tuesday.

The softball game between Samford and Arkansas has been postponed. No make date has been announced. The men's tennis match against Murray State has been rescheduled for April 5, at 2 p.m., and the women's tennis match with Georgia State has been postponed. The match will be rescheduled but no date has been announced.

It is the second day in a row that weather has kept the tennis teams from playing. Both the men and women will host Alabama A&M on Thursday, March 22, at 2 p.m.

The softball team will travel to Chattanooga, Tenn., on Wednesday for a 5 p.m. game against the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
