BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Bullpup Kids' Club held a birthday party for Samford's mascot, Spike, Friday night at Samford's soccer match against Georgia Southern.

Spike's guests were treated to pizza followed by cookie cake. Kids Club members sang "Happy Birthday" to Spike and signed a card for the birthday boy.

Spike would like to send a special thank you to all of those who helped him celebrate his big day!

The next Bullpup Kids' Club event is scheduled for Saturday, December 5. All Kids' Club members are invited to a Christmas Party prior to the Bulldogs' basketball doubleheader. The Kids' Club Christmas Party begins at 11:30 a.m. Tipoff for the men's basketball game against UNC Greensboro is set for 1 p.m. The women's game against Wofford will begin at 4 p.m.

It's not too late to sign up for the Bullpup Kids' Club! Memberships are only $20 and include a t-shirt, membership card, free admission to all Samford sporting events, birthday card, free ice cream from Hamburger Heaven, special events and much more!
