BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Inside Samford Sports, a weekly radio show all about Samford's 17 athletic teams will debut Monday, Aug. 26, at noon.
The debut edition of the show, which will air live on WJOX-AM 690 in Birmingham, will take place in the Samford University cafeteria. A location for future shows will be announced later.
Guests for the first show will be assistant head football coach/defensive coordinator Bill D'Ottavio, senior quarterback Andy Summerlin, head volleyball coach Dex Schroeder and Betsy Holloway, the university's chief marketing officer.
The show will air weekly throughout the 2013-14 academic year, and will be hosted by Mike Grace, the director of Samford Sports Properties and "Voice of the Bulldogs."
