Inside Samford Sports To Debut Monday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Inside Samford Sports, a weekly radio show all about Samford's 17 athletic teams will debut Monday, Aug. 25, at noon.
The show, which will air live on 100.5 FM WJOX2 in Birmingham, will take place at Full Moon Bar-B-Que on Valley Avenue.
Football guests for the first show will be Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator Bill D'Ottavio, senior running back Jeremiaha Gates and Offensive Coordinator Travis Trickett. The group will preview Saturday night's season opener at TCU.
In addition, Head Volleyball Coach Derek Schroeder will appear on the show. Schroeder's team opens the 2014 season by hosting a tournament this weekend in the Pete Hanna Center.
The show will air weekly throughout the 2014-15 academic year, and will be hosted by Mike Grace, the director of multimedia services and "Voice of the Bulldogs."
