BIRMINGHAM Ala. -- A.R.T.S. Representative Bruce Greer will be taking pictures and videos of athletes participating in Samford's annual spring community service project named "Samford Gives Back." The event will take place Saturday, April 18.
Greer was the creator of the A.R.T.S. public relations campaign which stands for Athletes Reaching Thousands Socially. He hopes to use this as an opportunity to highlight Samford athletes giving back to the community on a large scale.
"It's important to show the work that Samford athletes do not only on the field or classroom but also the community," said Greer. "People in Birmingham know this, but we want people in neighboring states and prospective students to see just how special our athletes are here at Samford."
The pictures and videos will be posted from the Samford Compliance Twitter page during the event and a media advisory will be sent out to local news stations to cover the event.
