PINEHURST, N.C. – The Samford women's golf team finished 10th at the Pinehurst Challenge, held Monday and Tuesday at Pinehurst No. 6 (par 72, 6,040 yards).

Samford finished with a three-round total of 912 (303-302-307) to come in 10^th in the 17-team event. North Florida won the event with a score of 878 (295-293-290).

Senior Emily Uhland led Samford individually. She tied for 16^th with a mark of 222 (72-73-77). Freshman Sophie Membrino tied for 28^th at 226 (75-75-76).

The Samford women's golf team will compete in the Terrier Intercollegiate, Oct. 29-30. The event will wrap up the fall season for the Bulldogs.
