FINAL RESULTS

NINETY SIX, S.C. – The Samford women's golf team won the Blue Hose Match Play, hosted by Presbyterian, Monday and Tuesday at The Patriot (Par 72, 6,175 yds.).

In the first round, Samford defeated UNC Asheville, 4.0-1.0. Mary Kate Horton, Hallianne Hobson, Allison Howard and Allison Dusek each earned wins for the Bulldogs in the match.

Samford then took on the host, Presbyterian. The Bulldogs claimed a 4.0-1.0 win over the Blue Hose. Horton, Howard, Dusek and Sophie Membrino picked up victories for Samford in the match.

In the final round, Samford played Gardner-Webb University, earning another 4.0-1.0 win. Horton, Dusek and Membrino won their matches, while Hobson and Howard tied in their matches.

Samford will wrap up its fall season at the Terrier Intercollegiate, Oct. 27-29, in Spartanburg, S.C.
