JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- On Tuesday, the Samford women's golf team finished its first tournament of the spring schedule at the JU Amelia Island Collegiate. The team finished in 10th place in a field of 16 with a three-round total of 930 (+66).

Samford senior Emily Uhland led the Bulldogs as she shot 228 (77-72-79) in the three-round event and finished in a tie for 19^th individually. Uhland's biggest highlight was her back nine in the second round which featured birdies on the par four 10th, the par five 11^th, and the par four 16^th.

The next tournament for the Bulldogs will be on March 11^th and 12^th at the Spring Break Shootout in Dade City, Florida
