BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford Athletics Department announced today that TicketSmarter has joined its corporate partner program. The partnership promotes TicketSmarter as the official ticket resale partner of the Samford Bulldogs.
 
As the official ticket marketplace partner, TicketSmarter now offers Samford fans the opportunity buy and sell tickets for the Bulldogs home and away.

"TicketSmarter is proud to enter a partnership with Samford and we look forward to many years of close collaboration," said TicketSmarter CEO Jeff Goodman. "As an extension of our collegiate efforts, we hope to continually develop our relationships with collegiate conferences, teams and bowl games to bring fans exciting sports experiences."
 
Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment, the university's athletics multimedia rights holder, facilitated the development and secured the partnership with TicketSmarter.
 
ABOUT SAMFORD ATHLETICS — Samford Athletics fields 17 NCAA Division I teams that compete in the prestigious Southern Conference. Since joining the Southern Conference in 2008, Samford's teams have won 44 conference titles. The program has also produced an NCAA Division I national champion (Karisa Nelson—2017 Indoor Mile), an Olympian (Jermaine Seoposenwe—2016) and a Walter Payton Award winner (Devlin Hodges—2018). In the classroom, Samford's student-athletes have scored 97 percent on the NCAA's Division I Graduate Success Rate (GSR) report, the highest score in the SoCon and in the state of Alabama. The score is also tied for 18^th in the nation.
