SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Samford women's golf team sits in fifth place out of 17 teams after the first two rounds of the Terrier Intercollegiate, hosted by Wofford Monday at Carolina Country Club (Par 72, 6,056 yards).
 
As a team, Samford posted a two-round score of 596 (302-294). Lipscomb leads the event with a score of 574 (281-293).
 
Four Samford players are currently in the top 20 of the 90-player field. Kelley Topiwala is tied for 14^th with a two-round score of 147 (73-74). Allison Dusek is tied for 16^th at 149 (79-70).
 
Bailey Dunstan and Mary Kate Horton are both tied for 18^th with identical scores of 150. Dunstan fired a 77 in the first round and a 73 in the second, while Horton tallied a 73 in the first round and a 77 in the second.
