Stuckey And Bhadmos Qualify For NCAA Indoor Championships

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Samford's Justin Stuckey and Morayo Bhadmos have both qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, scheduled for March 11-12 at the Birmingham Cross Plex.
Stuckey qualified to compete in the high jump at the championships, and he is currently tied for 12th in the event. His leap of 2.20 meters at the Music City Challenge qualified him for the meet. Last week at the SoCon Championships, he won the conference title in the event with a jump of 2.10 meters.
Bhadmos will compete in the triple jump, and she enters the meet ranked 15th in the event. Her performance of 13.39 meters at the UAB Vulcan Invite punched her ticket to the NCAAs. She finished second in the triple jump at the SoCon Championships with a jump of 11.94 meters.
