Bishop Sets School Record In Pole Vault At War Eagle Invite

AUBURN, Ala. – The Samford track and field teams competed in the War Eagle Invite, Friday and Saturday at Auburn University.

Three members of the Samford women's team placed in the top three of their respective events. Brittany Bishop set a school record in the women's pole vault, winning the event with a vault of 4.17 meters. McKenzie Hogue won the women's 1500 Meter Run with a personal best time of 4:23.38. Ashley Walker placed second in the women's 5000 Meter Run, finishing the race in 16:57.72.

Samford will compete in the Crimson Tide Invitational, April 22-23 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
