BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's golf team opened its fall season by competing in the UAB Fall Invitational, Monday and Tuesday at the Hoover Country Club (Par 72, 6,019 yards).
Samford placed 10
th in the tournament with a three-round team score of 933 (313-316-304). Southern Mississippi and South Alabama tied for first place in the event at 881.
Individually for Samford,
Christian Williams tied for 31
st in the 60-player field, with a three-round total of 232 (73-82-77).
Kelley Topiwala tied for 39
th with a score of 234 (79-78-77). A full list of Samford's individual scores is below.
Samford will next compete in the Lady Red Wolves Classic, hosted by Arkansas State, Oct. 10-11 in Jonesboro, Ark.
