Bishop Named SoCon Women’s Field Athlete Of The Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Samford senior pole vaulter Brittany Bishop was named the Southern Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week when the league released its weekly track and field honors Wednesday afternoon.
In last week's UAB Invitational, Bishop won the women's pole vault. She turned in a vault of 4.01 meters in taking first place in the event.
Samford will host the Samford Multi, Jan. 19-20, the Samford Invitational, Jan. 20, and the Samford Open, Jan. 21 at the Birmingham CrossPlex. For links to follow the results, click on the following link: TRACK AND FIELD SCHEDULE.
