Samford Athletics Giving Day Set for Wednesday, Nov. 15

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-- The fifth-annual Samford University Athletics Giving Day is set for Wednesday, Nov. 15.
Athletics Giving Day was established in 2019 as an opportunity for former Samford student-athletes, alumni and friends to make a gift directly to the programs of their choice.
"The SU Athletics giving day is a big deal for us," Samford Executive Associate AD Corey Green said. "It generates much needed revenue that support each program. We also engage new donors and former student athletes in a unified and focused one day event that really works well. No matter how big or small the gift, we appreciate every dollar and every donor touched because people have so many things to do and support that we can't take it for granted."
Last year, 300 donors gave $130,371 representing the highest amount raised to date.
Samford Athletics has set a goal of 394 donors to support Samford's 394 student-athletes for this year's online campaign. Anyone interested in participating may click here: ATHLETICS GIVING DAY.
