LEXINGTON, Ky. – To close out the 2024 outdoor season, Samford's Jaggerd Moore and Zephaniah Carico-McLennan compete on day three of the NCAA East Regional hosted by Kentucky on Friday at the UK Outdoor Track & Field Complex.
 
The day got under way with Moore placing 21st in the men's high jump with a leap of 2.09. Only the top 12 jumpers advance to the NCAA Championships, so Moore was unable to qualify.
 
In the nightcap, Carico-McLennan ran a personal best time of 1.46.75 to finish 15th in the men's 800-meter. Despite a personal best time, Carico-McLennan was also unable to advance to the NCAA Championships.
