LEXINGTON, Ky. – Samford sophomore
Bradley Franklin advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the men's 110-meter hurdles with his performance at the NCAA East Preliminaries Friday evening at the University of Kentucky.
Franklin ran the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 13.25 seconds, winning his heat and finishing third overall. He will now compete in the NCAA Championships, which will be held in Eugene, Oregon, June 10-13.
This will mark the second time during the 2026 season that Franklin has competed for an NCAA Championship. In the indoor season, Franklin competed in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing second in the nation.
Arthur Chitty also competed at the NCAA East Preliminaries on Friday. Chitty competed in the men's high jump but was unable to advance to the NCAA Championships.
On Saturday,
