EUGENE, Ore. – Samford sophomore
Bradley Franklin will compete in the men's 110-meter hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this week at the University of Oregon.
Franklin advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships by running the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 13.25 seconds at the NCAA East Preliminaries earlier this month.
Franklin also competed at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the men's 60-meter hurdles back in March, finishing second in the nation. Last season, as a freshman, he also qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 110-meter hurdles, placing 15
th in the nation.
The semifinals of the event will take place Wednesday at 8:08 p.m. (CT). Nine runners, the top two in each of the three heats plus the next three fastest times, will advance to the finals. The finals of the men's 110-meter hurdles are scheduled for Friday at 7:42 p.m. (CT).
