Biography

2012: Served as a backup on the offensive line . . . saw no game action.

2011: Redshirted.

High School: A two-year starter at left tackle for Hueytown High School . . . started 23 games . . . was a part of the 2010 team that set the school record for victories in a year . . . recorded 49 knockdowns and had two sacks allowed as a senior . . . won the Linemen of the Week award four times as a senior and twice as a junior . . . recorded seven knockdowns and did not allow a quarterback hurry in a second-round playoff game at Demopolis . . . also won the Birmingham News Scholar Athlete of the Week Award, which is given to athletes in the Birmingham area who excel in the classroom.

Personal: Born Feb. 2, 1993 . . . son of Mitch and Kelli Skinner . . . majoring in health fitness and promotion.
