2016: Started 11 of the team’s 12 games on the defensive line . . . finished the season with 40 total tackles, including 16 solo stops . . . had 4.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks . . . also had two quarterback hurries and one pass break up . . . had four tackles, including 2.0 tackles for loss and 1.0 sack against Wofford . . . tallied a career-high nine tackles at The Citadel . . . finishes with six tackles against Mercer . . . also had five tackles, four solo, at Youngstown State.

2015: Started all 11 games on the defensive line . . . tallied 31 tackles, including 13 solo stops . . . had 5.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks . . . added two quarterback hurries . . . had three tackles at VMI, and three more against The Citadel . . . tallied five tackles, two solo, at Western Carolina . . . had seven tackles at Wofford . . . contributed six tackles at Mercer.

2014: Saw action in seven games as a reserve on the defensive line . . . finished the season with four tackles, all solo . . . had two tackles against Mercer . . . tallied one tackle each against TCU and VMI.

High School: Was a two-time All-State selection at Ensworth High School in Nashville, Tenn. . . . helped lead his team to four state titles in Tennessee . . . was also a two-time All-Region player . . . named his team’s captain as a senior . . . as a tight end, he had 31 pancake blocks as a senior . . . also caught two passes for 50 yards . . . also participated on the track team, and he won the shot put in the Vanderbilt Great Eight Meet.
