TAILGATING ON THE QUAD
1. Tailgating groups are required to bring their own equipment for their area including tents, tables, chairs and grills, etc. Tent location is available on a first come, first serve basis.
2. Groups are allowed to pull vehicles onto the quad for loading/unloading purposes; however, vehicles MUST be moved immediately after loading/ unloading is complete. Vehicles are NOT allowed to park on the Quad.
3. The designated vehicle entrance to the Quad will open 6 hours before kickoff and will close 3 hours prior to kickoff. For load-out purposes, vehicles will be allowed to re-enter the Quad after the game begins, and for up to one hour after the game is over.
4. If you need power for your tent, you will need to bring a generator or rent a power source from Samford. A limited number of electricity access points are available on a first come first serve basis. Please email events@samford.edu to request a power source.
5. Grilling is permitted, however all grills must be placed away from tents and trees, and cannot be used under a covered surface. All grills must be elevated, and must use self-lighting charcoal. Propane tanks are NOT allowed.
6. All Fire MUST be contained, no open flames are allowed.
7. Tent Staking is NOT permitted. Tents must be secured using water barrels, sandbags, etc, in place of stakes.
8. Samford will not be held responsible for any stolen or misplaced items left on the Quad.
9. Tailgating at Samford is a family friendly environment. Please be respectful of those surrounding you, being mindful of your language and volume of music.
10. Smoking and alcohol are not allowed. Failure to meet these expectations can lead to guests being removed from campus.
11. All tailgating groups are responsible for making sure their assigned tailgating area is clean prior to departing the Quad.
PARKING – Game day parking on Samford’s campus is free of charge and first come first served in all parking areas with the exception of the South Stadium Lot, which is allocated to Samford Bulldog Club members and Samford Athletics Corporate Partners. HANDICAPPED PARKING – There are ADA Accessible Parking areas on both the East Side of Seibert Stadium outside of Gate B and on the West Side of Seibert Stadium in the South Stadium Lot. The accessible parking area in the South Stadium Lot will be on a first come first served basis and patrons with proper credentials will be allowed access to the South Stadium Lot if space is still available.
