High School: Prepped at New Hope High School in Alabama . . . was a starter for New Hope High School from the seventh grade on . . . as a junior, she reached the 2,000-point mark and was named the 4A Region MVP for two-straight seasons . . . was also named the MVP of the Area Tournament . . . was named All-State by the Alabama Sports Writers Association, and she earned All-Tennessee Valley honors . . . played in the North/South All-Star Game, and she holds her school’s record for three-pointers in a game.
