Lauren Talton joined the Bulldogs Sports Medicine staff in 2023. Prior to joining the staff at Samford, she served as the assistant athletic trainer with football, women’s basketball, and softball at Reinhardt University. Talton also completed her athletic training internship at Reinhardt University with women’s basketball and men’s volleyball in 2022. Talton has experience with a multitude of sports at the high school and collegiate levels.
Talton earned her master’s degree in Sport Administration and Leadership from Reinhardt University in 2022. She completed her bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Union College in 2020. Talton is certified in Healthcare BLS CPR/AED with the American Heart Association. She is also a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Alabama and is nationally certified through the Board of Certification.
Talton is the athletic trainer for the Bulldogs women’s basketball and men’s tennis programs.
