TROY, Ala. --- Samford's baseball game at Troy scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday has been moved to March 21, it was officially announced by both programs. With the high possibility of rain storms in the area, neither team wanted to be stuck in a holding pattern with big weekend road series' looming.

The Bulldogs' home-and-home series with Troy (2-2) will now be held on back-to-back days, March 21 and 22. Samford (2-1) will play on the road at Troy on March 21, before hosting the Trojans at Joe Lee Griffin Field the following day.

The Samford University baseball team will next be in action Friday at 3 p.m. (CT) as the Bulldogs travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to begin a three-game series on the road against the No. 5-ranked Florida State Seminoles.
