Tuesday's Baseball Game Postponed Due To Rain

Samford's home baseball game against Alabama State has been postponed from Tuesday to April 26, at 6 p.m.

Samford’s home contest against Alabama State will now be played April 26, at 6 p.m. (CT)

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Samford University baseball team's home game against Alabama State, which was scheduled to be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. (CT), has been officially postponed due to the threat of rain, it was announced by the athletic department.

The game will now be played April 26, at 6 p.m., at Joe Lee Griffin Field.

Samford's road game at Alabama State is still scheduled to be played Wednesday at 6 p.m., at the Wheeler-Watkins Baseball Complex in Montgomery.

This weekend, the Bulldogs will return home to begin a three-game series against former Ohio Valley Conference rival, the Eastern Illinois Panthers, in a matchup to be held at Joe Lee Griffin Field.
