BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Tuesday's Samford University-Middle Tennessee State University baseball game scheduled for 3 p.m. at Joe Lee Griffin Field has been cancelled due to rain. No makeup date for the meeting between the Bulldogs and the Blue Raiders has been established. The rainout is Samford's first in nine games this season.

Samford (1-8) remains at home tomorrow to host Alabama A&M (6-3). Game time is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Joe Lee Griffin Field. This week the Bulldogs also play Mississippi State in Starkville, Miss., at 3 p.m. on Thurs., March 1.
