Samford University's Sept. 15 home game vs. Ohio Valley Conference rival Tennessee Tech will be televised as the OVC Game of the Week, with kickoff scheduled for 11:00 a.m. (CDT) on Fox SportsSouth.

The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m., but was moved to allow Samford football to be televised to more than eight million homes on the regional network.

"This is a great opportunity for our program to be seen throughout the country," said Samford Director of Athletics Bob Roller. "We appreciate (OVC) Commissioner Dan Beebe's efforts to include Samford in an OVC Game of the Week and look forward to showcasing our campus in the telecast."

Samford officially joins the OVC in 2003, but will face OVC opponents Tennessee Tech (Sept. 15), Tennessee-Martin (Oct. 27) and Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 10) this season.
