The Bulldogs and the Camels tip it off for the 16th time in a series dating back to 1979, with Samford holding an 11-4 overall advantage. The Bulldogs are 3-2 in Buies Creek and have won eight of the last nine meetings overall and two of the last three in Carter Gym.

Samford defeated Campbell last Thursday, 69-55, and swept the Camels last season, winning 76-61 in Buies Creek and 63-49 at Seibert Hall. The last time Campbell defeated Samford was a 58-55 win on Feb. 3, 2000, in Buies Creek.

Chris Weaver scored 22 points in the meeting on Jan. 17 and Sebastian Sachse scored 22 points against Campbell in the Bulldog win in Buies Creek on Jan. 22, 2001.
