DEER ISLAND, Fla. - Seth Mobley shot an even-par 72 and broke into the Top 20 with a two-round total of 146, while Samford's total of 606 finds the Bulldogs 11th at the 2002 Atlantic Sun Men's Golf Championship at Deer Island Golf Club.
Mobley's 72 was the best posted by a Bulldog on Tuesday and he will begin Wednesday's final round in 19th position. Mobley leads the Bulldog roster of Bradley Farmer (151), Mike Clements (154) and Andy McRae (155).
Campbell's Simon Dunn continues to lead the individual standings with a two-round total of 136, four strokes ahead of five players tied at 140. The Camels also lead the team standings with a total of 564, followed by Jacksonville State (569), Georgia State (573), UCF (576) and Stetson (588).
The remainder of the team standings is as follows: Jacksonville (591), Florida Atlantic (592), Mercer (593), Belmont (598), Troy State (602) and Samford (606).
