BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Running back Jason Ogletree scored three touchdowns and gained 118 yards rushing to lead Samford University (2-2) to a 41-10 Division I-AA football win over Tennessee-Martin (2-2) Saturday night.

Ogletree scored runs of 15, seven and four yards in the second half to help Samford open up a big lead after Tennessee-Martin led for much of the first half, 3-0, on the strength of Brent Harris' 37-yard field goal early in the second quarter.

Ogletree capped a 59-yard drive with his seven-yard scoring run early in the second half and Samford led, 14-3. Samford forced a punt following the kickoff, and cornerback Leo Randall ran the kick back 77 yards for a touchdown. Samford led, 21-3.

Moments later, Samford's Blake Hall recovered a Tennessee-Martin fumble at the Skyhawk 24. The Bulldogs drove to another touchdown on D. J. Stancil's one-yard run with 4:21 left in the third quarter, and led, 27-3.

Samford's Derrick Wheeler recovered another Tennessee-Martin fumble at the Skyhawk 30 midway through the final period, setting up Ogletree's 15-yard scoring run for a 34-3 Samford lead. After Robert Hines scored on a 34-yard run for Tennessee-Martin, Ogletree capped off a 49-yard Samford drive with his final score.
