Birmingham-Southern registered a 6-1 victory over Samford in women's tennis Wednesday at the BSC Tennis Courts.
The Panthers earned their first win of the season, and improved to 1-1. Samford dropped to 1-3.
BSC wasted little time getting on the board, sweeping all three doubles matches for a 1-0 lead.
The Panthers continued to dominate in singles play, winning at every position, except No. 1. Charlotte Kelly (No. 2), Stephanie Ginsburg (No. 3), Jennifer Williams (No. 4), Daisy Humphrey (No. 5) and Laura Kirk (No. 6) all recorded straight-set victories for the Panthers.
Emily Nunnally won at the No. 1 position for the Bulldogs.
