Samford's men's tennis lost to Tennessee Tech 6-1 Sunday. Freshman James Bryce was the bright spot for the Bulldogs, picking up two wins. Samford will face UAB Wednesday.
Freshmen James Bryce and Johnny Griffee picked up a win at No. 1 doubles, defeating TTU's Fischer and Aguenezere 8-6. Bryce also won his match at No. 6 doubles, 6-7, 6-1 (12-10).
The Bulldogs return to action Wednesday, facing UAB at Brook Highland Raquet Club at 3 p.m.
