Clive Yeo picked up a win at No. 5 singles in dramatic fashion, 6-2, 7-6, but the Bulldogs were unable to hold off Troy State in a 6-1 loss Saturday. The Bulldogs will next compete in the A-Sun tournament April 14-16.

Freshmen Johnny Griffee and James Bryce picked up a doubles win at No. 3, but Samford dropped the No. 1 and No. 2 matches to fall behind 1-0.

The Bulldogs were coming off a 7-0 loss at Chattanooga Friday.
