Women's Basketball To Hold Free Clinic Prior To Alabama State Game Jan. 19

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Samford women's basketball will hold a free clinic prior to the Bulldogs' game against Alabama State on Jan. 19 in Seibert Hall.

The camp will feature Janet Cone, former Samford head coach; Dee Stokes, head coach of the Birmingham Power and several of the Power players. The camp is open to girls and boys in the eighth grade and under.

Registration for the clinic begins at 2:30 p.m. The clinic will begin at 2:45 with staff instruction and skills clinic, which will be divided into four stations, with the first station for defense, the second for passing, the third for ball handling and the fourth for shooting. Clinic contests will begin at 3:35, and the clinic will conclude at 3:40. All clinic participants will receive free admission to the Samford-Alabama State game.
