BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - This week's Southeastern Temperature Controls Samford Student-Athlete of the Week is junior Josh Hare. The Cleveland, Tenn. native averaged 15.5 points, three rebounds and shot 80% from the field in Samford's 65-50 loss to Oklahoma State and the Bulldogs 94-46 victory over Tennessee Wesleyan, this past week.
Against Tennessee Wesleyan, Hare tied his career-high with 19 points on 8-9 shooting from the field, including a perfect 2-2 behind the three-point stripe. He also pulled down three rebounds coming off the bench.
Hare started the week off dropping in 12 points against the Cowboys of Oklahoma State. He was a perfect 3-3 behind the arc and grabbed three rebounds, including two on the offensive glass.
