Samford men's golf is currently in sixth place at the Samford Intercollegiate after the first two rounds. Bradley Farmer leads the Bulldogs and is tied for 11th after 75-37-112. Tennessee State leads the rain-shortened tournament with a two-round total 293-145-438, Samford is 20 strokes behind at 300-158-458.

"It was a disappointing second round," Head coach Woodie Eubanks said. "We were close after the first round, but could not capitalize in the shorter second round. We still have a shot to finish third and if we come out and play well that is in our reach."

Ryan Mayberry is tied for 16th (73-40-113), Bradley Pate is tied for 25th (77-39-116), Andy McRae is tied for 33rd (75-44-119) and Reed Davis is tied for 44th (80-42-122).

The event will be a 45-hole tournament after the second round was shortened due to rain and darkness. The teams will tee off tomorrow morning beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the 18-hole final round.
