COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - The Samford men's tennis team lost 6-1 to Tennessee Tech, Friday afternoon in Cookeville. The Bulldogs (9-8, 4-3 OVC) struggled winning only one singles match to the defending Ohio Valley Conference Champion Golden Eagles (8-9, 3-0).

Johnny Griffee won 6-3, 7-6 on court six for the lone Bulldog victory against Tennessee Tech.

Samford will take on Martin Methodist tomorrow afternoon at 12:00 in Pulaski, Tenn.
