BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-- Samford tennis fans can enjoy three days of local tennis this weekend as the Samford University men's and women's tennis teams will battle uptown-rival Birmingham-Southern at the BSC Tennis Courts on Thursday, March 10 at 3 p.m. On Friday, March 11 at 3 p.m., the Bulldogs will play host to OVC-rival Tennessee State at the Darwin C. Hardison Tennis Center, located on the campus of Samford University, while on Sunday, March 13 the women's team will play host to OVC-rival SEMO at 3 p.m.

In the OVC on the men's side (7-5, 2-0 OVC), the Bulldogs have won conference matches against EIU and UT Martin with scores of 6-1 each, while in the OVC on the women's side (5-3, 1-1 OVC), the Bulldogs swept EIU, 7-0 and fell to UT Martin, 6-1 for the season.
