CALERA, Ala. -- Day two of the Third-Annual Applebee's/ Up The Creek Samford Intercollegiate was cancelled today (March 22) due to bad weather. The Samford University women's golf team placed 14th with a score of 341 to end the Third-Annual Applebee's/ Up The Creek Samford Intercollegiate. The competition took place at the Timberline Golf Course, located in the Calera, Ala. To end the tournament, Campbell won the event with a score of 295, while Jacksonville State placed second (300) and Middle Tennessee State carded third (302).
Samford's Brooke Barriento led the Bulldogs with a score of 83, while Kelly Stout shot 84, Kelly Villarreal carded 86, Courtney Warr shot 88 and Tricia Harlow carded 89.
Playing as an individual, Samford's Christine Sparks shot 83, while Ashleigh Hicks carded 85.
