BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The Samford University men's tennis team fell to No. 41 Alabama on Tuesday at the Brook Highland Racquet Club. The match was the Bulldogs' final regular season match as they get ready to head to the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.

Samford (11-7, 7-2 OVC) fell, 6-0, to Alabama (12-11, 3-7 SEC). The Crimson Tide quickly won the doubles point, claiming wins on all three doubles courts. In singles play, the teams completed five of the six singles matches, but the No. 2 match was suspended after the match was decided.

The Bulldogs return to action April 14, when they take on West Alabama. Results will be posted at www.samfordsports.com following the conclusion of the match.
