BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Samford's John Morgan was named the Player of the Week for the Orlando Shockers in the Florida Collegiate Summer League (FCSL) this week.

For the week, Morgan went 5-for-19 (.263) at the plate. He scored two runs and drove in one last week for the Shockers.

Morgan was also named the Shockers' Player of the Week on June 27.
