BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The Samford volleyball team will play host to the Owls of Kennesaw State tonight at 7 p.m. This marks the first meeting for the Bulldogs and the Owls.

This is the inaugural season of volleyball for the Kennesaw State Owls. They are coached by Valerie Jones, who comes to Kennesaw State from Joliet Junior College.

The Bulldogs look to extend their two-match win streak that was jump started this weekend as they swept Louisiana-Monroe and UNC-Asheville in three straight games at the Samford/Barber's Classic.
