NEW ORLEANS - Samford freshman forward Savannah Hill was named to the All-Tournament team for the Four Points By Sheraton Invitational, hosted by the University of New Orleans this weekend.

In two games this weekend, Hill averaged 11.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. This marks the second All-Tournament team Hill has been named to this season, as she was named to the All-Tournament team for the FAU Thanksgiving Classic last weekend.

In Friday's win over New Orleans, Hill scored eight points and pulled down four rebounds. She hit a key three-pointer late in the second half to give Samford the lead for good in the 49-40 win.

Saturday against 14th-ranked George Washington, Hill led the team with 15 points, and she pulled down five rebounds for the Bulldogs.

Hill and the Bulldogs will return to action on Wednesday, when they play host to Jacksonville State in the OVC opener for both teams. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start from the Pete Hanna Center.
