Samford Men's Tennis Can't Get Past Red Raiders

LUBBOCK, Texas. ---- The Samford men's tennis team dropped its second match of the spring season Friday to the Red Raiders of Texas Tech. The Red Raiders swept the Bulldogs as they earned all seven points of the meeting.
The Bulldogs stepped up to face two nationally ranked TTU players, No. 12 Bojan Szumanski and No. 92 Sinisa Markvic, but were not able to pull out a win against any of the Red Raiders.
The Bulldogs will have a week and a half to prepare for their conference opener against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks. Samford will face off with the in-state rival Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 2 p.m., at the newly finished Pat M. Courington Tennis Pavillion.
