BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The Samford track and field team continues the outdoor season with the Coach "O" Track and Field Invitational Saturday, March 31. The event is hosted by Troy University at the Jesse H. Colley Track Complex on the Troy campus.

Samford had a good weekend at the Alabama Relays last weekend, hosted by the University of Alabama, but most of the Bulldogs' success came in the relay events. The Samford women placed fifth in the 4x200-meter relay, seventh in the 1600 sprint medley, third in the 4x1500-meter relay, and first in the 4x800-meter relay.

The Samford men took third place in the 4x1500-meter relay as well as the 4x800-meter relay, and fourth in the distance medley.
