BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The Samford men's tennis team defeated North Alabama Sunday, 6-1, to grab their third win of the season. The Bulldogs are now 3-4 overall, 1-0 in the conference.
Samford came out and swept the doubles point from the UNA Lions, while taking six of the seven singles points. Stuart Misner was the only Bulldog who lost his singles match, dropping a tough decision in three sets to North Alabama's Everton Silva.
The Samford men will be back in action as they join the women to play host to the Tigers of Tennessee State. This will be the second conference match for the men and the third for the women. For a full recap and results, go to www.samfordsports.com.
