BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Representatives from John Carroll Catholic High School presented Samford head football coach Pat Sullivan with a gift wishing him well in his first season at Samford.

The school presented Sullivan a large card with photos of Sullivan when he played at John Carroll and at Auburn University. The card was also signed by the current football team and cheerleaders.

Representing John Carroll were head coach Gerald Gann, director of athletics Dan Buczek and director of advancement John Deamer.

Samford opens the 2007 season Thursday night against West Alabama. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff from Seibert Stadium. The game can be heard live on the Samford Radio Network.
