Final Stats

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- Junior outfielder Rachael Reeves' bunt at the bottom of the ninth inning brought Kristy Lawrence home to score the winning run Saturday afternoon to lift Samford over Central Arkansas, 6-5. The game was the first for Samford in the Southern Miss Invitational, and the win which was decided in nine innings, was the second for the Bulldogs on the season.

The Bulldogs will play again at 7 p.m. in three-day tournament as they take on Southern Miss at the Oak Grove High School fields.
